Teaching Methods
Melbourne Chinese Secondary & Primary School focus on fun and interactive teaching methodology. Students can learn Chinese via storytelling time, fun games and weekly topics.

The main activity book is "Living Mandarin" with supplements of other material such as "Mandarin Hip Hop", "New Edition Mandarin". The school pays attention to the newest publications and availability of teaching material all the time.

Aim of
School
In taking the education of Chinese language and cultural as the teaching objective, teachers treat each student as their own children, patiently nurture with care. Not only focusing on Chinese cultural and literal education, but also making pupils to use what they learnt to express their own thinking.
把傳播學習中國語言文化和文字作為教學宗旨把每一個學生當作自己的孩子悉心栽培。不但注重中國文化、文字方面的學習,期使每一個孩子能夠將文字轉為己用,能用中文表達自己的思想,而不僅僅停留在對中國文化傳統習俗的粗略認識上。
Community
Chinese education becomes a part of community education. To be involved with mainstream society, to exchange views with community leaders, and even to coordinate activities within the community.
與社區服務結合,使中文教育成為社區教育的一環,與主流社會保持接觸丶和社區領袖交換意見、甚至共同主辨活動,是未來爭取支持的基礎。與社區結合,不僅是教中文,還要教文化,目的不僅是推廣中華文化,更重要的是縮短文化差距,增進瞭解,避免不必要我誤解及歧視。
